In the memoirs of Warren (A12A79) it is claimed Isabel, child #4, marriedRoger Bigod (Earl of Norfolk), and that Margaret, child #5, married BAldwin Rivers or Riviers (Earl of Devonshire); however, "The Complete Peerage", G.E.C. (Eng. V) does not recognize such marriages. Maud, child #2, must be older than herbrother William, and could hardly have been born later than 1163, since she hadadaughter, Alice d'Eu, who was married to Ralp (Raoul) de Lusignan in 1191 andprobably had children in turn as early as 1195. Therefore the claim that the abovewife Isabel married Hamelin Plantagenet between 1163 and 1165 may still be offa year or two. SOURCES: 1. Tab. Gen. Souv., France 22, Tab. 18 2.
