1. Caleb was incarcerated at Liberty Jail in Liberty, Missouri with Joseph Smith, Hyrum Smith, Lyman Wight, Alexander McRae, and Sydney Rigdon on 1 Dec 1838 to 6 Apr 1839.
2. Married in the home of Judge James B. Kingsbury in a double-wedding ceremony performed by Justice of the peace Horace Perry. Caleb and his brother Runa married Judge Kingsbury's daughters, Nancy and Calista Kingsbury, 7 Dec 1814.
3. Caleb and Nancy were early converts to the LDS church, both baptizedinto the church by Parley P. Pratt 14 Nov 1830.
4. Caleb served a mission to Illinois, baptizing the family of future daughter in law, Jesse McCarrel and Mary Locke, Ann Eliza's mother
