John Parker was granted the land by a Patent dated 3 Sep 1757 (Deed Bk 9, page 73-74 Hampshire Co., VA.). Some of the Parker land in the Patterson Creek area was sold to Michael Cresep on 5 Feb 1772 opposite Burks Island below the mouth of Patterson's Creek in Hampshire Co WV. By 1793, Michael Cresap's daughter Mary/Maria and spouse Luther Martin and others were buying land in Hampshire Co VA (WV) area on Patterson Creek which was originally granted to John Parker, father of Aaron Parker.
Aaron Parker is also listed in Hoye's "Pioneer Families of Garrett Co.", pg 475-476 probably a "Squatter" and building a cabin at Old Bear Camp in 1774 in now Garrett Co, MD.

At Aaron's death he left land to his son, William Dobson Parker who in turn sold it.

Final Deed of John Parker’s land (Deceased) was signed 12 Jun 1765.
