OCCUPATION: Ranching NOTES: 1. Joe went to Big Timber, Montana, Jun 1911. 2. Worked for a telephone company until 1913, when he entered the Forest Service in Lewis & Clark Forest. 3. Transfered to the Jefferson Forest that same year. 4. Left the service some years later to take up a homestead where he engaged in ranching. 5. He was killed by a dynamite blast while supervising the construction of the Dry Wolf Kings Hill Forest Road.
