1734: Taxed for 100 acres.
Will writen 17 Oct 1772, Proved 9 Mar 1773, lists three (3) daughters. 1 Mary Rambow (hus Peter), 2 Susannah Williams (hus Richard), 3 Hannah Parker (hus Robert), 2 grandsons, Edward and Peter Peters. Apperently his son (Name Unknown) had died before this date.
Came from Frederick Co	VA in 1749.

Peter Peters was granted 214 acres by Lord Fairfax some time after1745.
Issued a Land Grant for 182 acres (Northern Neck H-124), bounded on the East by Keyser by Limestone Run. Peterson also owned Lots 31 & 32 on the South Branch. He sold the Keyser property to Jacob Neau who sold it to Edward McCarty.

Hampshire County Court House, Romney, W. Va- 10 Mar, 1773- A bond for two thousand pounds to Execute the will of Peter Peters was given by Richard Williams, Robert Parker, William Buffington, and Darby Aughney.

Peter Peters will- In the name of God, amen, I Peter Peters of Hampshire County in the Coloney of Virginia being very sick and weak in body-but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God therefore calling into mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is---- for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last willand testament that is to say. Principally first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hand of almighty god that gave it and mybody I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the direction of my Executor--nothing doubting but at the general resurection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and touching such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life, I give, devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form.
First I give and bequeath to my daughters Mary Rambow, Susana Williams, Hanah Parker and the heirs of their bodies that is after my daughters' death or any of them that their heirs shall have an equal share men and woman after the ----- of full age after my daughters'death and not before all my personal estate to be equally divided between the daughters aforesaid. I give and bequeath to my son-in-law Peter Rambow, Richard Williams and Robert Parker my lot or parcel of ground lying and joining New Creek, the survey containing 182 acres to them and their heirs and assigns forever as also my lower lot or parcel of ground coming to the plantation I sold Richard Williams. I give and bequeath unto my two grandsons Edward Peters and Peter Peters to be equally divided between them to hold it forever their heirs orassigns with----- pound to be given to them out of my personal ---------- ----- ----- this parish.
Likewise I constitute, make and ordain Richard Williams and Robert Parker, sons-in-law, executors of this my last will. To empower them my Executors to fulfill this my last will according to the true meaning thereof--as I utterly disallow, revoke and disannulall and every other former testament, wills, legacies and bequeastsand Executors by me in any way before named. Willed and bequeathed, retifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of October, 1773.
