Ludwig BAILE

                   NAME:
    Peter BAILE or BAIL
NOTES:
    1. When but a young boy Peter with his parents and sister embarked on a sailing vessel bound for America; his parents dying enroute, young Baile was taken by the Nicoldemus family and raised by them in Maryland, not far distant from the village of New Windsor. Of the sister all trace has been lost.
    2. At his death Peter Baile was possessed of a large fortune which was distributed among the eleven children.
    3. The Original stone house still stands and is in possession of a descendant of the Peter Baile family. Every latch and nail in this house was made by peter Baile himself and the stone of which the house is constructed was carried in his leather apron, he being a carpenter and a mason.
