                   Cox, Anna March 3, 1923 - October 14, 2005 (Published Sunday October 16, 2005)

JANESVILLE ? Anna Cox, 82, of 1906 Tamarack Lane, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at Mercy Manor. She was born on March 3, 1923, in Conrath, WI, the daughter of John and Mary (Derdowski) Styczinski. She graduated from Sterling Hospital, Sterling, IL, Nurses Program as a Registered Nurse. Anna has been a Janesville resident since 1951. She married Ernest R. Cox on Dec. 29, 1951 in Ladysmith, WI. He died on Oct. 28, 1980. Anna was employed at the Pinehurst Sanatorium as a Lab Technician and X-Ray Technician and later from 1974 to 1991 at Caravilla as a Registered Nurse. Anna was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and its Over 50 Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She is survived by a son, Peter (Christine) Cox of Janesville; 4 grandchildren: Christopher, Aletha, Nathaniel and Steven Cox, all of Janesville; a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Cox of Janesville; 3 sisters: Florence Shelton of Greenfield, WI, Sophie Rawls of Janesville and Cecelia Harm of Cornell, WI; and 3 brothers: John and Ted Styczinski of Conrath, WI and Lewis Styczinski of Dublin, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Al Styczinski; and 2 sisters, Helen and Irene Styczinski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, with Fr. Donn Heiar presiding. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
