Claude HENNIG's youth was spent in the Riverside community, Burt County, Nebraska, where he attended school, and later was a student at Boyles College in Omaha.  Claude moved to his farm just west of Rosalie, Thruston County, Nebraska in March 1921, and was married 16 Jun 1921.  He was actively involved in farming for many years before his retirement.  They continued to reside on the family farm untill 1984 when they moved to Lyons, Burt County, Nebraska. He was member of the Roaslie School Board for many years, and joined the First Presbyterian Church after moving to Lyons.  Claude and Dorothy Hennig celebrated their 65th wedding aniversary June 15, 1986 with a family dinner at the Biltmore, Sioux City, Iowa.
