                   REFERENCE: SHED, FRANK E., 1921, Daniel Shed Genealogy; p. 54-57 discusses his fathers family, and on page 56 shows Ebenezar to be viii child of second wife Lydia Farley, being born in Billerica, Mass.  His father's first wife was killed by Indians.  P. 65, Ebenezar was born but a few years after the terrible
Indian massacare that so devestated the paternal home.  He was a housewright by trade, but he probably also followed farming since the records shows that he owned considerable land on or near the base of Prospect Hill in what is now Somerville.  His name appears on the tax lists of Charleston from 1727 to 1766, except in 1738-9 and 1762.  He died 17 Apr 1770 in Charleston, age seventy-five years, according to his gravestone in the old Cambridge Cemetery near Harvard Square.

                   REFERENCE: SHED, FRANK E., 1921, Daniel Shed Genealogy; p. 65-66 shows her wedding ceremony was performed by Chief-Justice Samuel Sewall.  Her property was damaged during the battle of Bunker Hill in 1775, and she was among the inhabitants of Charleston claiming indemnity for losses at that time. SHED, FRANK E., 1921, Daniel Shed Genealogy; p. 65-66 shows birth date and parents names.  On p. 90-91 shows birth date and place, when a young man settled in Lunenburg, Mass., where he resided many years engaged in farming.  About 1786 he removed to Springfield, VT where he was listed in the United States census of 1790 as head of a family of five males over sixteen years, one male under sixteen years and four females.  Here he had developed and improved a homestead on which he resided until his death 25 Apr 1810, age eighty years. Fourth childs of Ebenezar and Abigail (IRELAND) SHED.
