                   REEFERENCE: NOERENBERG, William, 15 Feb 1937, Stanton, Nebraska;
"Autobiography of William NOERENBERG, A Short Sketch of My Life".  Wilhelmina's
parents had died before the fall of 1881, and were buried in Varchmein,
Hinterpommern, Germany.  Wilhelmine worked as a bottle nurse for a family, was
held in high esteen by the local officials, spoke high German which enabled her
to feel at home in a somewhat elite society.  She married when 36 years old.
Immigrated with her husband and two sons to the United States 8 May 1882,
arriving on the ship HOHENSTAUFFEN from Bremen, Germany to New York.
