                         Appoints son Larkin executor.

       At a Probate court held at Woodstock, within & for said District, on the first Wednesday (being the third day) of December, A.D. 1828.
       Present Hon. Isaiah Raymond, Judge.
       As instrument purporting to be the last will & testament of Mathew Harrington late of sharon in said district, deceased, being presented to the court here by Larking Harrington the executor therein named, for probate:  it is ordered by said court that all persons concerned therein be notified to appear at a session of said court to be held at Barker's hotel in Woodstock aforesaid on the first Wednesday of January next & show cause, of any they may have, against the probate of said will - for which purpose it is further ordered that a copy of the record of this order be published three weeks successively in theWoodstock Observer printed at Woodstock aforesaid, as soon as may be.

       I, Mathew Harrington of Sharon in the county of Windsor being in a very infirm state of health and sensible too of my liableness of sudden death and at the same time being in my own apprehension of sound mind do judge it best to make and accordingly do hereby make this my last will and testament.
       It is my wish that all my just debts and charges of my funeral be paid and discharged by my executor herein after named and appointed out of my estate as soon as conveniently may be after my decease and I leave the charges of my funeral to the discretion of my said executor.
       I give and devise and dispose of all my estate in the following manner:
       I give to my beloved wife Mary Harrington my two cows and seven sheep with all my household furniture likewise give her a note hearing date June 1 first 1822 for twenty dollars payable in grain in two years from the first of January next after date and signed by Moses Davis Jr.
       I give to my children Stephen Harrington, Susan Eldridge, Katy Wilson their heirs and assigns and to the heirs and assigns of Polly Eldridge and Sarah Boles both deceased so much of my property each as the law required to be given to legal heirs to prevent their breaking and making a will null and void to be paid twelve months from my decease.
       I also give to my son Larking Harrington his heirs and assigns a note bearing date April 9, 1822 for the sum of one hundred dollars on demand and Int. signed by Chester Baxter and a note bearing date April 8, 1825 for the sum of one hundred and eight dollars and fifty one cents and interest on demand and signed by Solomon Downer with all the residue of my property not otherwise disposed of by his paying all my just debts funeral charges and legacies herein before named.
       And I hereby constitute and appoint my son Larking Harrington to be executor of this my last will and testament.
       In testamony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and declare this to be my last will and testament this ninth day of August in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and twenty eight.

       Signed sealed published and declared by the said Mathew Harrington as his last will and testament in presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereof at the request and in the presence of he said testator and in the presence of each other.

       At a Probate court held at Woodstock, within & for said district, on the first Wednesday (being the seventh day) of January, A.D. 1829.
       Present Hon. Isaiah Raymond, Judge.
       The foregoing instrument is presented as the last will & testament of Mathew Harrington late of Sharon in said district deceased, & comes under consideration (notice to all persons concerned having been given under an order of court heretofore made) & Eli Hayden, on the the subscribing witnesses appearing, makes an oath that he saw Mathew Harrington the testator sign & seal said instrument & heard him publish and declare the same to be his last will & testament - that the testator, at the time of the execution thereof, was of sound mind & disposing memory - & that the witness, together with Amos Snow & George Robinson, all subscribing as witnesses to the same at the same time in presence of the testator & of each other.
       Whereupon, it is considered, by the court here, that said instrument is proved, and the same is hereby approved, ratified & confirmed as the last will & testament of said deceased.
