                          Thomas Gottschall and Maria Dornbach (later married) were sponsors for Johan Thomas's baptism.

       Reading Adler 14 Apr 1835: Died on the 2nd day of this month, in Upper Berne Twp., this county, LG Sr formerly of Alsace Twp in the 78th year of his Pilgrimage.  On the following Saturday his soul-less body was laid to rest on the Northkill Burial Ground where Rev Mr Leinbach delivered an appropriate sermon.
