       Nathan Rhodes was a physician for over 40 years in Dresden.  He doctored up and down Lake Champlain, using a canoe in summer and snowshoes in winter.  After his death, his second wife, Anna carried on his practice and care of the ill of Dresden.
       According to family tradition he spent some time in Canada and was back in Granville (1810 Census).  He was a charter member of Truthville Baptist Church and was buried in Tracy Cemetery, Dresden, Washington, New York.

Death Certificate of Calvin Rhodes

       William and his brother, Nathan married Derby sisters. (William's second wife, Abiah Derby was the widow of Cornelius Butcher.)  William was buried in Truthville Cemetery of Granville, Washington, New York.

      William's and Abiah's son, Horace Rhodes was sealed to Daniel Dutcher, first husband and to his mother, Byer Jane Derby 2 Apr 1948 SL. She was sealed to first husband the same day.  Approved by Joseph Fielding Smith.

Daniel and Sarah (also wife, Deborah ?) were members of the Truthville Baptist Church, and moved to Clymer, Chaut. County, New York where they were living in 1840.  They came to Iowa about 1840.  He was buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa, Iowa.
