WILL OF WILLIAM BUSH:

William Bush of the parish of Sow in the county, city of Coventry, Wheelwright.

Item 1   To William my said son, my stock of lumber, boards or other wood, whatsoever to me belonging, provided he pay my two oldest daughters Susannah and Sarah Bush, the full and just sum of (?ten) pounds to each daughter.  If the said stock amounts not to the sum of sixty pounds, said money is to be paid my son out of the rest and residue of my said estate by Grace, my loving wife.

Item     I give and bequeath untl Susannah, my oldest -- the sum of 30 pounds to be paid her by Grace, my loving wife. together with the sum of ten pounds, the sum to be out out to interest until said daughter shall marry.  If my said daughter shall at any time marry, (?both) or either of the trustees by me herein nominated, then on the day of marriage, she shall receive the sums of money remaining in trust for her use.

Item     I give unto Sarah, my loving daughter, the sum of thirty pounds to be paid her by Grace, my loving wife, she paying all my lawful debts, funeral charges, and legacies herein by me ordained and bequeathed.  I appoint her executor of my will.

I do hereby nominate and appoint my brother Thomas Elliott of Stonely and Thomas Holbitch of Sow trustees and overseers with power to them or either of them to defend the right of any persons nominated to the full extent of this last will and testament, and I revoke any other will by me made.  I, William Bush, set hand and seal, this 23 day of November anno 1713.

"The condition of this obligation is such that of the above will, Grace Bush, widow of William Bush of Sow, aforesaid, wheelwright, deceased . . . to whom the  . . . and education of Susannah, William and Sarah, Mary and John Bush, natural and lawful children of the said deceased, being in their minority . . . by the above named shall bring up the said children . . . etc.
