Oliver Pray came to Waterville, Ohio with three children and lived at the Columbia House Hotel built by his uncle John Pray.

Admin. of Estate of Oliver Pray, Prov. Twnsp. 1867.  Left no widow but 2 minor sons, John and Stephen Pray, abt. 10 yrs. in 1866.  John under guardianship to John Wilson, Texas, Henry Co., Ohio.  Stephen lived with administrator, Oliver Heller, Providence Township.  Uncertain if the boys' mother was Laura Gray or Fanny Hill.

Oliver's daughter Amy Hopkins Pray born 11 Oct 1817 in Foster died 25 Oct 1817 and was buried in Foster by her mother Amy Hopkins Pray who was born 1795 and died 25 Oct 1817.

Question: Who was the mother of Ambrose, Esther and Emma Jane (Amy Hopkins Pray died the same time as her first child, Amy Pray.)

Ambrose and his sister, Esther both died of Cholera Aug 1854 aged 42.  They were buried in the Wakeville Cemetery, Waterville, Ohio.

Lucas Co. Ohio Deed Bk. 1, p. 258 (1835-57): On 11 Oct 1854 Oliver Pray adm. estate of Esther Pray Ruggles, who died leaving John E. Shaw her only surviving son and heir.
