George Lindenmuth was a Lutheran Minister.  He was born in the old Homestead in Union Township.  He farmed all of his life and took an active part in local affairs, served as auditor in his township and was interested in politics as a worker in the Democratic party.  He acted as judge of election.  He and his wife, apolly are buried in the Old White Church of which he was a minister.

His father, Daniel Lindenmuth was married four times and had nine children.
