Abstract of the will of Cycelye (Mainwaring) Cotton widow of Stike upon Terne, dated 16 Dec 1549.

       To be buried in the high chancel of the Church of Stoke.
       To John Cotton base gotten son of my son Rober Cotton four kine etc.
       To John Robinson eight sheep.
       To Alice Robinson my black frock guard with velcet.
       To Mistress Maude Cochkins my scarlet peticoat.
       To my daughter Ann a cow, etc.
       To Margaret Grene my black frock.
       To Margaret Bats a new sheet.
       To my daughter Maude my saddle and bridle.
       To Elizabeth Dod one double winding sheet, etc.
       To little Alice Robinson and Joan Robinson the little mattress.
       The residue of my goods to be distributed as shall please my executors, namely my son william Cotton and my brother Thomas Mainwaring.
