Elizabeth, his wife (since Married to Jacob Dicter ?) his sons Christopher, age 13,
     Leonard age 12

John George Gottschall arrived in America aboard the ship "Queen of Denmark" which arrived at the Port of Philadelphia 11 Sep 1753. Also aboard was Christopher Wilhauser. On 18 Dec 1754, Johan Christopher, son of Jurg Gottschall and his wife Elisabeth, was christened in Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading, Pennsylvania. sponsor at that baptism was Johan Christoph Willhaus.
When Christopher Wilhauser died in 1759 Letters of Administration were issued to George Gottschall and Elizabeth his wife, sister of Christopher Weilhaus.
When George Gottschall prepared his will he named his wife, Elizabeth and their daughter and sons as heirs. In subsequent estate papers filed in the Berks County Court House, and in Orphan's Court records there are specifically named sons Frederick, Thomas, Leonard, Christopher and wife Elisabeth. Also named is Andrew Freyberger, husband of Anna Catherine, who is believed to be the daughter who is not specifically named.
