    Isaac Alexander was his bro-in-law.

    Levi Banks was one of the earliest settlers of Lawrence Co., Miss.
    Served in Capt. M. Runnell's Co. of the Thirteenth Miss. Territory Infantry
    during War of 1812.  Moved to Simpson Co after 1824 formation and stayed
    there until the rest of his life.
