Speakers at her funeral service were: Bishop Edward Bunker, Jr., Joseph I. Earl (son-in-law), Henry Leavitt, William Abbott, Samuel Wittwer, and Myron Abbott.

No marriage license was available for Agnes Viola and Joseph Ira Earl. However, a letter from the St. George Temple listing the marriage date and the person that performed the ceremony is in the possession of Winona Earl Wittwer.
He married Mary Mathieson McQuarrie 20 Apr 1861 at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah . Mary Mathieson McQuarrie was born at Climbreahead, Renfrew, Scotland 23 Aug 1846 .
