CHILDREN: Pg. 148 of teh Salt River book referenced states that they had one daughter which did not come to California with them in 1882.
BIRTH: The birth records of all the children of Joshua and Martha Steeves state that the parents were from New Brunswick, Canada, except for one which states that they were from Halifax, New Brunswick. As Halifax in in Nova Scotia, the informant may have been confused- or they may have been from Nova Scotia. We have left of New Brunswick in the record........Bla 09/11/02
