DEATH: This marriage is not listed in the NEHGR reference. Per the Foster Genealogy the marriage took place in 1668 not 1678 as shown in the Hammatt Papers. As the Foster Genealogy lists the date of death for Mary Jackson as 1677, it appears likely that Hannah Downing married Isaac Foster in 1678. (This reference also subscribes 11 children to the Mary Jackson, placing her death after Oct 1676.) However, the Foster Genealogy lists Hannah Downing's date of death as 27 Nov 1678, which would be only two days after this marriage. This is likely the reason it is not mentioned in the NEHGR.
