Samuel GUNN

                   BIRTH:  LTR 14- From Hatfield, Mass. Town Clerk

DEATH: Azariah Dickinson and Sarah Gunn only had one child, per the "Genealogy of Hadley" book referenced.  He was born in June 1709.  As Sarah had a younger sister born in 1711, that was also given the name of Sarah, we assume that this Sarah (Gunn) Dickinson died in childbirth with that one son or shortly thereafter..........Bla 01/22/02

DEATH: LTR 12-2  Letter from Town Clerk of Sunderland, Mass.
                  

                   BIRTH: LTR 14- From Hatfield, Mass. Town Clerk  (However, this source has the name as Daniel and the birthdate is one day difference.)  I could find no record of a Daniel Gunn marrying an Esther Belden in either the NEHGR or on Ancestry.com's World Tree.  The conclusion would be that the Town Clerk mistook Nathaniel for Daniel...........Bla 01/22/02

MARRIAGE: The book "History of Sunderland" on Pg. 383 states that Nathaniel Gunn married a third wife, Hannah.  However, there is no marriage date given in this or my other sources.  Also, it appears that Esther Belden, his second wife, outlived him.  If this is the case, then he could not have married a third time..........Bla 01/22/02
