BIRTH: Ancestral file had a birth date of 1568 and a christening date of 1586 (Supportated by the date in the Great Migration reference cited), a difference of 18 years. We deleted the birth date as it had no support, choosing to use the christening date as equivalent to the birth date....Bla 02/24/02
MARRIAGE: Ancestral File has a marriage of Eglin Hatherly to a Hugh Hanford, with accompanying children. As there is no support for this family (John Hanford, a son of this Hugh Hanford, is a direct ancestor of B. Larry Allen) and the children born are at the same time period that Jeffry Hanford was fathering children with Eglin (Hatherly) Hanford, we have removed the marriage.....

ORDINANCES: Although the CD entitled, The Migration Begins, states the marriage of Elizabeth Hanford and Nicholas Wade took place by 1648 as that was when the first child was born, there were no Sealing ordinances performed for this year. Instead, there were several for the year 1638. We selected one of those sealing dates and left the marriage date as reported on the NEHGR CD.
