NOTE: Catherine wrote a will 29 Jan 1834, Franklin County, PA. estate #2975, Book D, page 289. In it she identifies some of her grandchildren. Her executor was Jacob Welsh. It was probated on 10 Mar 1834.
NOTE: On 21 May 1823, letters of Administration on the Estate of Yost Mentzer were granted to richard Hayden- Franklin County will Book C, Estate # 1936

(In my research I have found that sometimes the last name Miner was changed to Menner - RCA) Since it is believed joseph Minor and wife went to ohi, an index to the Wills of Ohio to 1850 reviewed. it shoed a Joeph Minor having an intestate estate in 1842 in Medina County, case no 42. Supposedly it was reported in the genealogical publication 'Gateway to the West" 7-2-66. According to information from Gretchen Murray the youngest son of Samuel Mentzer, her brother lived with this family for a time. He married Catharina Elisabetha Bauer 18 Feb 1771 at Cumberland, Pennsylvania . Catharina Elisabetha Bauer was born at Lancaster, Pennsylvania 24 May 1752 daughter of Heinrich Bauer and Maria Catherine Willheit .
