Strong Leonard was a Private in Pliny Adams' Regiment, N y Militia during the war of 1812. He volunteered at Granville, Washinton County, N.Y., 11 Sep 1814. He was discharged at Burlington, Vermont 20 Sept 1814, 75 miles from home.
NOTE: only one child listed in 1830 and 1840 censuses
