John Bowman, 76 of 969 30th, died this morning at his home.
Me Bowman was born April 22, 1888 in Uintah, a son of William A. and Emma Dye
Bowman.  He was married to Neta Austin on Jan. 10, 1928 in Ogden.  The marriage
was later solemnized in the Logan Temple.  Mrs Bowman died in 1961.
     He had been a painter for Weber Central Dairy.  He was a member of Mount
Ogden Stake High Priest Quorum and Seventeenth Ward.
       Surviving are one daughter, Mrs Kennth L. (Nadine)Post, Ogden; two
grandchildren, one brother and three sisters, George P. Bowman, Mrs Lottie
Hodson, Mrs Agnes Bybee, both of Ogden, Mrs Alena Steward, Salt Lake City.
       Funeral services will Saturday in the Larkin Chapel of the Dawn.  Burial
in the Ogden City Cemetary.

Mrs Neta Austin Bowman, 67 969 39th died Monday evening in St. Benedict's
Hospital after a four-day illness.
       Mrs Bowman was born May 29, 1893 in Ogden, a daughter of John W. and Mary
Reese Austin.  She was married to John Bowman on Jan. 10,1928 in Ogden.  They
later recieved endowments in the Logan Temple.
       She was a member of the Relief Society and Singing Mothers Chorus of the
Seventeen Ward.
       Surviving are her husband, one daughter Mrs Kenneth L. (Nadine) Post,
Walnut Creek, Calif.
       Funeral Thursday in the Larkin Chapel.  Interment in the Ogden City
Cemetary.
