9 Feb 1899 =  Mrs Eugene Chase died at her home in this city, Tues., Jan. 31.
of quick consumption, after an illness of about three months.  The deceased was
born in Linn Co., in 1870, and moved with her father, D. Ludwig, to this
town when a child.  She leaves her husband, 3 small daughters, a father and
two brothers to mourn her death. ( Harold's note: birthplace is in correct.)

Date on death cert differs with Harold's
date. If you calculate her age at death on cert she would have been born 1869.

Birth record of Mary Ann gave her mothers name as Lucinda Bell Lodwig

No headstone in the Fairbank Cemetary.  Need to check with Harold.

Harold there is a birth certificate for a Carrie Ester Chase Born Dec 16 1898 at
Fairbank City.  Mother Lucinda Ludwig and Eugene Chase. I also can't find a
headstone in the Fairbank Cemetary for a Carrie Ester Chase.

Harold I think this is Cora but I don't know why the difference in the date of birth.  What do you think?
