Florence Bradley first married to Jim Mc Lain (div?) who had a son Roy McLain
who supplied information on her death certificate. Also have a copy of a
family group sheet on Marwood Bradley prepared by Martha A. Bradley, 1981 a
relative in Independence, Ia and in a Family History at the Independence, Ia
library. Found the record of obit for Roy McLain said his parents were James
and Ann Wood McLain and that Florence Adams was his foster mother. This was
from the Buchanan Journal 8 Nov 1957. Found marriage for James P. McLain and
Florence Bradley in Blackhawk County and they were married on 23 Feb 1899 at
Waterloo. Book P page 322 so Florence was really a stepmother.
