William AMES
In several secondary sources William & John the immigrants father was given as Richard. In Bruton Parish records we find his correct name is John Ames (1560). Death: Admon 6 Mar 1654, Suff Probate Court Mass.

Sam Hinckey & Thomas Hayward a brother of John (1610) wife, vouched they came with them. They were dissenters from kCh of Eng. They became members of Calvinist church in Mass. Don't know where they spent 1st 3 years.
