Jan TEN HOEVE
He was a baker by trade.
She had always been an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After her husband died, she became devoted to doing genealogy work for the family. She would walk to the genealogy department nearly every day until her death. She related, one time, about a name she submitted to the temple to have ordinance work done for him. The member who stood in proxy for this member of the family looked her up. He informed her that after he came out of the water he saw a man standing at the edge of the baptismal font. The man said, "Thank you" and simply disappeared.
He married Gerridina Hendrika Van Dijk 26 Aug 1891 at Kampen, Overijssel, Netherlands . Gerridina Hendrika Van Dijk was born at Zwolle, Overijssel, Netherlands 26 Aug 1868 daughter of Herm van Dijk and Gerridina Loggies .
