       Services for Croft [Bus] Marchant Lewis, 72, of Cowley, were heldTuesday 27 Sep 1994 in the Cowley LDS Church with Bishop Joe Yatesofficiating.
       Mr Lewis died in the North Big Horn Hospital Saturday, 24 Sep 1994following a brief battle with cancer.
       Mr Lewis was born in Cowley 1 Aug 1922 the son of Claude Alvin andCharlotte Marchant Lewis.  He attended school in Cowley and attended theUniversity of Wyoming for two years.  It is at the university where hemet his wife, Evelyn Whitehouse.  The couple married 6 May 1924 inKimball NE.
       Bus ranched and farmed with his father for many years.  He didcarpentry work and various other jobs the past few years.  He wasemployed by Georgia Pacific as a guard at the time of his death.
       He enjoyed his family, growing a huge garden and canning theharvest, tending his many flower beds, fishing with friends, golfing andcooking.
       Survivors include two daughters, Lorraine Lewis of the family homein Cowley, and Linda Jackson of Gillette; two sons, Keith W Lewis of OremUT and Nick Lewis of Lovell; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
       He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers,four sisters, two sons and one grandchild.

Cowley WY -- Evelyn Louise Lewis, 58, died Tuesday in North Big HornHospital where she had been a patient for two months.
       Born in San Francisco CA, she was the daughter of Samuel and DorisMorehead.  In 1942 she married Croft M Lewis and they made their home inCowley for about 36 years.  She was a member of the Church of JesusChrist of Latter-Day Saints.
       Survivors include her husband of Riverton WY; two sons, Keith ofOrem UT and Nick of Lovell WY; two daughters, Lorraine Madden of LovellWY and Linda Jackson of Wellsville UT; two brothers, Stanley Baum ofCowley and Neal E MacNeel of Tehachapi CA; and 16 grandchildren.
       Funeral services will be at 1000 Friday in Lovell WY Stake Chapel.Burial will be in the Cowley Cemetery with Haskell Funeral Home in chargeof arrangements.
