Robert Hyrum WELCH

                   Charles Welch celebrated his 99th birthday with family and friendsat Cowtown Cafe, Saturday, April 20.  Charley looks forward to each day.He's always pleasant and so appreciative of anything that is done forhim.  He is a man of virtue, an individual of countless accomplishmentsand has a heart of gold.
       Charley grew up in Morgan UT, and came to Cowley when he was 16 tovisit his sister, Ivy Crosby.  He stayed and graduated from the Big HornAcademy.
       In 1924 he married Cora Brew Godfrey.  Their children are Gae,Carol, robert, emily and Terry.  When he retired from ranch work, heenjoyed woodworking.  The Cowtown Cafe was crowded with his children, allof whom were present except Terry, who could not make the trip, andEmily, who is deceased.
