   She was a female, white, widowed,housewife, born 19 Nov 1835.  Nancy was born England, father born England, no information on mother.  She lived in RedBluff 3 days before she died and in California 50 yrs.  She died at 7:20 PM of cerebral apoplexy.  F. W. Decker was the Coroner.  She was buried in Tehama,CA 30 Jan 1912.  The affidavit was signed by Bert Hampton of Mineral, CA.Her will is dated 10 August 1910

The funeral of Mrs. Nancy Turner was held from the Presbyterian Church Tuesday afternoon, January 30,  Rev. Purlee of Red Bluff officiating.  Many friends attended and the floral offerings represented the work of loving hands.  The interment was in the Tehama cemetery beside those of the family who had gone before.  Mrs. Turner passed away as she hoped with only a short suffering stricken with cerebral apoplexy while preparing supper for her son-in-law, Bert Hampton.  She lingered two hours, unable to speak, then passed away. The death was at Paynes Creek but the coroner was notified.  His verdict was as above stated.  Mrs. Turner was a native of Devonshire, England and came to California over fifty years ago. Located in Marysville and shortly after came to Tehama where she has lived ever since.

She was a consistent Christian and was ready to obey the call. A daughter, Mrs. C.E. Ballow, of Mexico, and a son, Wm. Turner, of Sacramento, and several more distant relatives survive her.

William Turner Passes Away at Age of 67
William Edward Turner, 67, a native of Tehama, died this morning at 3:30 o'clock at his home in the Paynes Creek section, where he had been residing for the past two months.  For 30 years, Turner was a stationary engineer of the Southern Pacific Company.  Following that period in his life he operated a gas station at Elverta, Sacramento county for 10 years.  He eventually retired and went to Mineral for a time and two months ago moved to the Paynes Creek house.

Deceased was born 2 June 1869.  He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Clara C. Turner; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Hampton, and two nephews, Elbert and Olen Hampton, all of the Paynes Creek district.  He was a member of the Independent Order of Forestry Court No. 10 of San Francisco, also a member of Knights of Pythias Confidence Lodge of Sacrament.  The funeral services, in charge of Fickert's Mortuary, will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock with internment at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Final rites for William E. Turner, native of Tehama county, and resident of the Paynes Creek district for many years, who passed away Saturday were held this morning at 10 o'clock at the Fickert chapel with Dr. R. S. Eastman (pastor of The Presbyterian Church) officiating.  Music was by Mrs. David Minch accompanied by Louis Randolph.  Pallbearers were Charles Miller, Harry Bofinger, Fred Meyers, Chris Schafer, W. Goodridge and James Montandon.  Internment was at Oak Hill cemetery under direction of the Fickert Mortuary.

Elijah Turner Expires at the County Hospital
Elijah Turner died at the county hospital Sunday evening at 6 o'clock, to which place he was taken several days ago for treatment.  He was 53 years old.  His mother and other relatives reside in the county.  Mrs. Bert Hampton is a sister.  The remains were taken to Tehama for burial.

«/b»Long Suffering - Illness Ended After Many Months - Obituary of the Life of Elijah Turner - Died in Prime of Life

After a brief Illness, Elijah turner died at the county hospital Sunday, 8 November,k aged 32 years, 9 months and 5 days.  Deceased was a native of California, having been born in Tehama, 3 February 1875, where he made his home for a number of years and made many friends and acquaintances.

About the middle of October, Mr. Turner was partially paralyzed and was taken to the home of his mother, Mrs. Ed Turner of Tehama, for medical treatment.  The physician attending at that time offered little encouragement to his friends' hopes for his recovery and the unfortunated man's condition became rapidly worse until about a week ago when he was taken to the county hospital.  Sunday afternoon at about 5 o'clock the end came, and after days of suffering was at peace.  Interment was made Monday evening in the cemetery at Tehama.

Mr. Turner leaves to mourn his death his mother, Mrs. Ed Turner of Tehama, a brother, William Turner, and two sisters, Mrs. C.E. Ballow and Mrs. Bert Hampton.
