Provo - Aca Clark Snow, 80, native resident of Provo, died Saturday night at his home, 210 South Seventh East St., following a lingering illness.  Born 20 April 1868, he was a son of Don Carlos and Mary D. Hallet Snow. He was educated in Provo City schools, and was first employed as a brick maker by the Beesley and Tiffany Brick Company of Provo.  On March 20, 1899, he was married to Sarah E. Freshwater in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Mrs. Snow died in March of 1942.

From 1899 to 1937, Mr. Snow served as assistant sexton of the Provo City Cemetery. He retired from that position 11 years ago.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was active as a high priest at the time of his death. He is survived by two sons and two daughters, Vernal Clark Snow, Nephi; Mrs. Emily May Anderson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ethel A. Edmonds, Provo; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers and three sisters, James C., Levi C., Arlington, and Ray Snow and Mrs. Reva White of Provo and Mrs. Lillie Mann, and Mrs. Ella Barnett, both of Ogden.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 PM in the Berg Mortuary drawing room chapel by Bishop A.C. Boulter of the Bonneville Ward.  Friends may call Tuesdays from 6 to 8 PM and Wednesday prior to services at the mortuary.

Retired Cemetery Official Dies - Funeral services for Aca Clark Snow, 80, lifetime resident of Provo and assistant sexton of the Provo cemetery for 38 years will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Berg drawing room chapel under direction of Bishop A.C. Boulter of the Bonneville LDS Ward.  Mr. Snow died Saturday night at his home 210 S.. 7th E. following a lingering illness.  He was born April 20, 1868 in Provo, a son of Don Carlos and Mary E. Hallet Snow.  He received his early education in the Provo City Schools.  He was first employed as a brick maker by the Beesley and Tiffany Brick Co. of Provo.  He married Sarah E. Freshwater, March 20, 1899 in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She died March 6, 1942.

Mr. Snow served from 1899 to 1937, a total of 38 years as assistant sexton of the Provo City Cemetery. He retired from that position 11 years ago.  A member of the LDS Church, he held the office of high priest at the time of his death.  Survivors include two sons and two daughters,  Vernal Clark Snow, Ruth, Nev; Don Carlos Snow, Nephi; Mrs. Emily May Anderson, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Ethel A. Edmonds, Provo; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchilderen; four brothers and three sisters, James C., Levi C. Arlington, and Ray Snow and Mrs. Reva White, all of Provo, and Mrs. Lillie Mann, and Mrs. Ella Barnett, both of Ogden.

Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8PM and Wednesday prior to services at the Berg mortuary.  Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery.

Death Claims Sarah Snow
Sarah Ellen Freshwater Snow, 71, wife of A. Clark Snow, died at the family home, 210 South Seventh East, this morning, following a lingering illness.  She was born 27 June 1870 at Spanish Fork, the daughter of George and Hemlah Moore Freshwater.  She received her education in Spanish Fork and married Mr. Snow 20 March 1890 in the Salt Lake Temple after which they made Provo their home.  Mr. Snow prior to his retirement four years ago had spent 30 years in the employ of Provo City in charge of graves at the cemetery.  Mrs. Snow was a faithful Latter-day Saint and for many years was a teacher in the Relief Society until her health failed.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Vernal Clark Snow of Salt Lake City and Don Carlos Snow of Nephi; two daughters, Mrs. Emily May Anderson of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Ethel Arletta Edmonds of Provo; nine grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Martha F. Hindmarsh of Burley, Idaho.  Funeral services will be at 1:30 Monday in the Bonneville Ward Chapel under direction of Bishop John Brailsford.  Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary Sunday evening and Monday at the home prior to services.  Burial will be in the Provo City Burial Park.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ellen Freshwater Snow, wife of A. Clark Snow were held in the Bonneville Ward Chapel Monday afternoon.  Lee Snarr, member of the bishopric was in charge.  Mrs. Sarah Ramsey sang accompanied by Mrs. Vera Brumn-Jak, who played for all numbers.  Prayer was offered by William Benson, and Reed Jones Sang.  Speakers were Bishop W.O. Facer, Grover Miller, and Benjamin Bullock.  Lloyd Herring rendered a vocal solo and a duet was sung by Mrs. Ramsey and Mrs. Ada Wiseman.  Dwight Billings closed with prayer.  The grave at the Provo City Burial Park was dedicated by G.M. Farrer.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Nephi Third LDS Ward chapel for Don Carlos (Carl) Snow, 79, who died August 17, 1978 in Nephi following a long illness.  Snow was born July 26, 1899 in Provo to A.C. Clark and Sarah Ellen Freshwater Snow. He married Pearl Blackett May 12, 1924 at Provo. He received his education in Provo and attended Brigham Young University. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was a former employee of Mountain Fuel Supply Co., the Nephi Water and Police departments and Thermoid Rubber Company.  He is survived by his wife of Nephi and one daughter and three sons, Mrs. Henry (Colleen) Ballow of Ogden, Clark B. Snow of Ruth, Nevada, and Don Laud and Robert D. Snow of Nephi. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Burial at Vine Bluff cemetery was directed by Anderson Funeral Home.
