Great sympathy is expressed for Mr. Freshwater, who is a highly repected citizen, especially as it has become known that the accident was caused by his efforts to save others from injury. There was great danger of all the fireworks catching fire, and that the indiscriminate explosion would have resulted in dangerous accidents to the great crowd standing near. Mr. Freshwater saw this and grabbed a bomb, which had been ignited, to throw it away from the other combustibles and while hurrying through the crowd with the bomb, it exploded, inflicting the severe injury to Mr. Freshwater's hand.

Clark Snow, died at the family home, 210 South Seventh East, this morning, following a lingering illness. She was born 27 June 1870 at Spanish Fork, the daughter of George and Hemlah Moore Freshwater. She received her education in Spanish Fork and married Mr. Snow 20 March 1890 in the Salt Lake Temple after which they made Provo their home. Mr. Snow prior to his retirement four years ago had spent 30 years in the employ of Provo City in charge of graves at the cemetery. Mrs. Snow was a faithful Latter-day Saint and for many years was a teacher in the Relief Society until her health failed. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Vernal Clark Snow of Salt Lake City and Don Carlos Snow of Nephi; two daughters, Mrs. Emily May Anderson of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Ethel Arletta Edmonds of Provo; nine grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Martha F. Hindmarsh of Burley, Idaho. Funeral services will be at 1:30 Monday in the Bonneville Ward Chapel under direction of Bishop John Brailsford. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary Sunday evening and Monday at the home prior to services. Mrs. Sarah Ramsey sang accompanied by Mrs. Vera Brumn-Jak, who played for all numbers. Prayer was offered by William Benson, and Reed Jones Sang. Speakers were Bishop W.O. Facer, Grover Miller, and Benjamin Bullock. Lloyd Herring rendered a vocal solo and a duet was sung by Mrs. Ramsey and Mrs. Ada Wiseman. Dwight Billings closed with prayer. The grave at the Provo City Burial Park was dedicated by G.M.
