«b»Obituary«/b» - Dallas A. "Doc" Snow, 75 yrs, 388 S. 100 W., Provo, died Thursday June 17, 1982, at a local nursing home of cancer. He was born 23 July 1906 in Provo to Arlington and Nellie Workman Snow. He married Polly Carter, 8 September 1941, in Las Vegas Nevada.  She died 24 March 1981. He was educated in the Provo Schools and in 1925 filled an LDS mission in the Kansa Oklahome District. After his mission, he worked on farms and on construction jobs in the area.  He also worked on the railroad

After his release from military service, he moved to california, where he and his wife worked for the Los Angeles County Hospital "Rancho Las Amigas" for 20 years. In 1965, he retired and returned to Provo where he had lived since.  He served at two different times in the US Army from 1933 to 1938, he served in the Phillipine Islands in the medical corps. He also served in WWII in a MASH unit. He participated in General Eisenhower's invasion across North Africa and with General Mark Clark's army through the Italian campaign until the end of the war. He was discharged from the Army October 20, 1945 at Fort Douglas.

Survivors include a brother Don Devoe Snow of Folsom, California; nephews and nieces. Funeral will be Monday at 11 AM at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel. Friends may call at the mortuary, Sunday from 6 to 8 PM and Monday prior to services. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
