Rev. E.L. Spuller of the Congregational Church of Ripon officiated. Mrs. Kane died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lillie Ballou in Ripon Saturday. She had made her home with her daughter for the past five years, moving here from Oakdale, where she had been a resident for forty-two years. She was the mother of Mrs. C.A. She was a member of the Ripon Congregational Church and the Ladies Aid Society. She leaves three sons, Frank Ballou of Ripon, Edwin Ballou, Jr., of Stockton, and Wll Thresher of Oregon and five daughters, Mrs. Ila Castello of Ripon, Edwin Ballou, Jr., of Stockton and Will Thresher of Oregon and five daughters, Mrs. Ila Castello of Ripon, Mrs. Ethel Butts, Mrs Sayde Cligny and Mrs. Nell Poppleton, all of San Jose, and Mrs. Ava Bacciarini of Modesto. She also leaves a brother, Charles W. King of Stockton and a sister, Mrs. Chris Bone of Oakland. Funderal services were held Thursday at the Ripon Congregational Church with Rev. Everett L. Spuller officiating. Interment was in the Oakdale Cemetery.
