Inquest Pends in Death - Nephi - Inquest proceedings were pending Wednesday for George J. Worthington, 72, who was found dead late Tuesday in a barn behind the family home, the victim of a bullet evidently discharged from a gun he was handling.  He was killed instantly.  A native of Nephi, he was born 18 January 1872, a son of Thomas and Suzanne Pass Worthington.  He had lived most of his life in Nephi.  He married Georgina Winn, who died in 1911.  His second wife, Mary B. Wilson Worthington, survives him.  Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Viola W. Ockey and Mrs. Winnie Park, both of Nephi; two stepdaughters, Mrs. LaVon Olson, Moroni, and Mrs. Dorothy Smith, Salt Lake City: three sons, Neldon W. Worthington, Nephi; Glen Worthington, Logan, and Gene Worthington, Payson; four brothers, Orson, Joseph and William Worthington, all of Nephi and Charles W. Worthington, Emery; two sisters, Mrs. John Park, Murray, and Mrs. Hugh Park, Nephi.
