                   Held land in Lilly Valley  In 1712 John Stewart sold 250 acres of land that had belonged to his father to Robert Thompson.  Michal, his wife, relinquished her dower right in the land.  The same day Thompson conveyed to Steward 450 acres on the south side of Spring Run.

John Stewart made a will in Henrico County in 1714 leaving most of his land to his son, John, one-third of his goods to his wife, Michal, and the rest of his land and property to four daughters.  Charles Ballow, Francis Epes Jr., and William Perkins witnessed the will (will dated 25 April 1714, recorded 2 August 1714.  They valued Stewart's estate for L98:15:6

25 yrs old when he married Michal Ballow in October 1683.  He was 30 in June 1691 and 34 in October 1694.
