His residence was given in 1634 as Broadway, Somerset, England, in the hundred of Norton-Ferris, 17 miles east of Glastonbury and about four miles west of H Minster, Somerset, England. Thomas Holbrook and his family sailed with the Joseph Hull Company 20 Mar 1634/1635 from Weymouth, Dorset, England on the "Mary Gould" with Edward Cuttanc as master. They landed at Dorchester, Massachusetts 7 Jun 1635 and stayed there only a few days.
