Death:Certificate in possession of Sharon Richards states that Fanny Ostler was 56 years old and died of palsy and decline.
Two Missionaries - George Kendell and William Knight served in Crewkerne and Mary Love Teerlink had access to their missionary book. It stated that John and his wife were baptized and next to their names was written "emmigrated." John took the message of the Gospel to his parents and he baptized his father and mother some of his brothers and sisters. He was made branch president there. When Francis died, the father Samuel emmigrated with his sons Samuel and John. They sailed on the ship Juvanta 31 Mar 1855. John was called to be a missionary to Texas 5 Aug 1855.
