Jenkins ORD: Endowments for dead; microfilm #23049; pg 13; Manti Temple NOTES: Children of wife Regula Sauernmann and husband #2, Hans Jakob Vollen- weider were sealed to Regula and Martin Wintsch 19 Feb 1925 at Manti Temple; also, children by her third marriage to Kaspar Wylimann were sealed to Martin Wintsch. Husband #1, Martin Wintsch was 30 when he died. Their third child died the same month & year. It is probable that an epidemic of some kind was responsible. They had been married 4 years. About a year later she married Hans Vollenweider (1807). They were married 10 years, and he died at the age of 43, about 5 weeks after their last child was born. The baby died 2 months later. Regula was 38 at this time. Two years later she married husband #3, Kaspar Wylimann and had 2 more children. They were married about 20 years. She lived 7 more years and died at age 67.
Casper and his family were members of the William H. Dame Company, which arrived in Salt Lake Valley: 29 October 1862. Company Information: 150 individuals and 50 wagons were in the company when it began its journey from the outfitting post at Florence, Nebraska (now Omaha). He married Regula Sauermann . Regula Sauermann was born at Volketschweil, Zurich, Switzerland 21 Nov 1779 daughter of Hans Jakob Sauermann and Elisabeth Frei .

Martin Wintsch died 7 May 1806 at Volketschweil, Zurich, Switzerland .
Regula Sauermann died 30 Oct 1846 at Bisikon, Zurich, Switzerland .
