John Wickersham WOOLLEY

                   Lorin Calvin Woolley was excommunicated 15 Jan 1924.
In January 1969 the family received a letter from Grodon R. Woolley Jr. (grandson of Lorin), giving the date of the rebaptism as 26 June 1967.  The endowment work was performed on 27 June 1967 and on same day, 27 June 1967, Lorin was sealed to his parents John Wickersham Woolley and Julia Searl Ensign Woolley.  Sarah Ann Roberts Woolley was sealed to Lorin Calvin Woolley 27 June 1967.  Then in 1981, as a great-grandson, Robert E. Coombs was working on his four generation program he was told that under a policey change a request needed to be made for restoration of Temple blessings for Lorin C. Woolley.
   Restoration of endowment and sealing was requested by Robert E. Cooms, June, 1981. Robert was notified on 5 January 1982 that the First Presidency declined the request.  A copy of the letters mentioned is in the possession of Patricia E. Rushforth.

BAPTISM: Lorin Calvin Woolley was baptized 18 Oct 1868 and rebaptized on 26 June 1967.

MARRIAGE: Lorin married Sarah Ann Roberts of Bountiful when he was 27 years of age.

BIRTH:  Lorin was the third child born to John Wickersham and Julia Ensign Woolley.  They lived in Salt Lake until Lorin was 7 years old at which time the family moved to Centerville.
