[inglis family.and Keith .4FBK.ged.FBK.FBK.FBK.FTW] Then from some papers thatDan had that were compiled by Lee Vanhorn of Edmonton for a reunion in 1983 in Vancouver: "Abraham Van Horn - Born on the farm of William and Margarete (Thomassen) Van Horn, near Whitehouse, Hunterdon Co., New Jersey; Baptised in the Zion Lutheran Church of New Germantown (now Southwick). Concerned about land for his sons, William, about 1787, began the first of many trips to Can ada on horseback. At Newark (now Niagara) in 1796, he made application for 2 00acres: it was granted, but he disappeared without trace immediately there after. His sons, Abraham and John came themselves a few years later. Lot 33 ,Con. 3, Markaham, was patented to Abraham in Oct 1801, sold July 1834 to Ch ristian Heise."
