                   My g-grandfather (the father of my fathers mother) was named Benajah
Hicks,but I do not think this is the same person as your Benajah.. My
great grandfather was born 7/30/ 1842 in Noble Township, Wabash County,
near Ijamsville, Indiana. He was one of the four chilidren of Patrick
Hicks and Elizabeth Geyer. The children were Benajah, Benajahs twin
sister Sanira, Columbus (dob 1845)), and Lucinda (dob 1848).
Benajah married Mary Melinda Carvey on 2/15/1872.Benajah and Mary
Melinda had three children: my grandmother Amanda Alice (dob 7/11/1873),
Etna (dob 1876), and Clarence (dob 11/13/1883). Benajah died 4/1/1922 in
Akron, Indiana. Mary Mellinda died the following April, also in Akron,
Indiana
