The will for the Thomas in Sharon lists a different wifeand childre n, so I do not think he is our man.
The Barbour Collection considers the name "Horsford" to be interchangab le with "Hosford".

There is an Adino Barnes, age 80, on the 1870 census for Caanan, Litchfiel d. The pic has been saved. Their notereads, "Service records for the Revolutionary War are incomp lete.
