Saturday, April 2, 1927, Rochester Sentinel Mrs. Eva WARNER, aged 82, died ather home in Macy Saturday morning at 12 o'clock after nine months of intensesuffering from diseases incident to old age. She was born at Germantown, Ohio, April 1, 1845, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David SHAFFER. When seven weeks old her mother died, and when two years of age was adopted into the home ofMr. and Mrs. John AYDELOTT who were very devoted to her. Shortly after theCivil War she was united in marriage with J. W---lay WARNER and to this union--- children were born. The deceased was a member of the Macy Methodist Church nearly all her life. She is survived by six daughters and two sons, namely,Alice [NEWTON] wife of Chas. NEWTON of Portland, O., Margaret [BOYD] wife of Albert BOYD of Elkhart, Della [GREGORY] wife of Wm. GREGORY of Fulton, Rose [LONG], wife of Uly LONG of South Whitley, Grace [BROWN] wife of Harry BROWN of Kokomo, Olive [EWER], wife of W. M. EWER of Macy, Walter WARNER of Macyand Adrian WARNER of Akron, Ohio. Definite funeral arrangements have not beenmade but possibly will be Monday afternoon at the Macy M.E. Church. Burial will be at Five Corners Cemetery
Thursday, June 2, 1938Mrs. Adella F. GREGORY, aged 68, a life long resident of the Fulton community died at her farm home three miles south of Fulton in Road 25 at 6 oclock Wednesday evening after an illness of one year due to complications.The deceased was born near Perrysburg, February 9, 1870 and was the daughter of Wesley and Eva WARNER. In a ceremony which was performed March4, 1886 she was married to William GREGORY. The deceased spent her entire lifetime in Fulton and Miami counties.Mrs. Gregory was a member of the Fulton U.B. church. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Alvin [GREGORY] at home; Kircher [GREGORY] and Harold [GREGORY], both ofAkron, O.; three daughters,Mrs. Fred CLINE, Kokomo; Mrs. A. C. DeMOTTE, Lake Wawasee; and Mrs. Ruth ROUCH, Fulton; ten grandchildren, five sisters, Mrs. Matt EWER, Macy; Mrs. Albert BOYD, Elkhart; Mrs. Grace BROWN, Kokomo; Mrs. Uly LONG, So. Whitley and Mrs. Alice NEWTON, Portland, Oregon and two brothers Adrian WARNER, Akron, Ohio, and Walter WARNER of Macy.Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 oclock at the Fulton U.B. church, Rev. J. W. MILLER in charge.Friends may call at the residence to view the remains.Mrs. Mable DEER, aged 48, who resides on a farm seven miles southeast of Argos died at 8 oclock this morning in the Kelly Hospital, Argos, lafter a long illness due to complications.She was born in Marshall county December 11, 1889 and was the daughter of Marshall and Alysta GREER. In a ceremony performed April 5, 1908 she was married to Earl DEER. Mrs. Deer was a member of the Jordan Baptist Church.Survivors are the husband, three sons, Joseph [DEER], Charles [DEER] and Thomas [DEER] all at home; two daughters Miss Florence DEER, New Point and Mrs. Pearl SOMMERS, Lake Charles, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Jack WHITE and Mrs. Frank GRIEG, Plymouth and threebrothers, Lew GREER, Plymouth, Fred GREER, Indianapolis and Frank GREER Topeka, Kansas.The funeral services will be held from the Weslyan Methodist church near Argos with Rev. DECKER officiating. Burial will bemade in the Old Oak Hill Cemetery at Plymouth.
The News Sentinel Friday, January 22, 1943 Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Olive Pearl EWER, 63, in Milroy, with Rev. H. SCHONDELMEIR, officiating. Interment was made in the Milroy cemetery. Mrs. Ewer passedaway Tuesday in the Rushville Nursing Home. Death resulted from complication,following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Ewer was born in Miami county, Ind., Oct.25, 1879, the daughter of J. A. and Eva WARNER. She was married to Hiram (Matt) EWER in 1901. The deceased was a member of the Macy Christian church. Survivors include the husband; four daughters, Mrs. William M. SEDAM of Rushville; Mrs. Richard O. WILSON, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Chester REED, of Sheldon, Ill.; and Mrs. Floyd ROCK, of Elkhart; two sons, Doyne EWER, of Indianapolis,and Richard EWER, of Shelbyville; two brothers, J. A. WARNER, of Akron, Ohio,and Walter WARNER, of Plymouth; and three sisters, Mrs. Grace BROWN and Mrs.Madge BOYD, of Elkhart; and Mrs. Alice NEWTON, of Portland, Oregon. Twelve grandchildren also survive.
He married Eva (Aydelott) Shaffer 1861 . Eva (Aydelott) Shaffer was born at Germantown, Ohio 1 Apr 1845 .
