Mrs. Alonzo Clemans, passed away at her farm home in Perry Township,
Miami County, four milessoutheast of Macy this morning at 7:45. Mrs.
Clemans had been ill with the Flu and Heart Trouble for the past two
weeks. She was 75 Years of age.
Harriet(Cleland), daughter of Jonas and Mry (Onstott) Cleland, was bo rn
in Miami county, June 15, 1857 and resided there her entire life. On De
cember 1, 1891she was united in marriage in Perry Township to Alonzo
Clem ans who survives.The deceased was a member of the Ebenezer
Methodist Chur ch.
Those who survive are the husband, two sons, Frank (Clemans) of
Logansport and Walter (Clemans) of Fulton, one daughter, Mrs. Blanche
Morris ey of Macy and one brother,Oliver (Cleland) of Chamberlin, South
Dakota, Eight grandchildren also surviving.
Short Funeral Services will be held at the home at 1:15 Friday afternoon
f ollowing which services will be held at 2:00 at Gilead Methodist
Church.Rev. Wayne Eller will officiate and burial will be made in the
Gilead Cemetery.
