Mr Henry Snyder, son of Mr John Snyder Sr., and son-in-law of the departed Marshall, died this morning (Friday the 18th Inst) at 4 oÕclock, after bearing with christian fortitude and patience, sufferings protracted through many months. On Tuesday, the day his father-in-law died, Mr Snyder, with his deeply afflicted companion, and in the presence of many weeping relations sensible that he could not live, dedicated their little son to God in the ordinance of baptism. His christian name is William Marshall. O may the mantle of the departed grand-father fall upon him
Mr Snyder was 38 years, 2 months, and 3 days old. He had been a consistent member of the Presbyterian church for 13 or 14 years and was evidently more and more interested in the church and her prosperity.
